Vampire Crawlers Characters: 25 Crawlers, Stats & Mana Cost¶
Characters in Vampire Crawlers are called Crawlers, and they're the heart of the game's deckbuilding twist: you buy them at the Gorton Bell Inn in the Village, and they fight alongside you as cards in your deck. This page is about what each one does in a fight: base stats, mana cost and role. The unlock conditions are on a separate page.
Price vs unlock condition
The gold price in the tables below is what you pay at the Gorton Bell Inn: it isn't the unlock condition. Several Crawlers also need a hidden condition first:
- Krochi: 6,666 kills
- Mortaccio: smash 444 Skeletons
- Dommario: collect 5,000 coins
- Gallo Valetto: clear Gallo Tower
- MissingN0: defeat Red Death (how)
Divano exists in the game files but is unobtainable, so it isn't counted among the 25.
The rest of the hidden conditions, and why the Inn charges a different price in every save, are on the character unlocks page.
How Crawlers work (the part the game doesn't explain)¶
- Your lead Crawler (first chosen) adds their stats to your party and four of their cards to your starter deck: a leading Antonio, for example, adds +10 Max Health to the party total.
- Every Crawler after the lead, whether bought at the Inn or recruited in dungeons via the Outhouse, adds only one attack/spell card. No stat bonuses.
- Each Crawler has a primary effect (fires when you play the card) and a trigger effect (fires every time you play a card of its matching color). The Duration stat is how many times that trigger can fire before the Crawler expires and returns to your deck.
Disco mode: once you own 5 Crawlers, entering the Inn has a 10% chance to trigger Disco mode: a 5% discount on further purchases. It ends when you leave, and you need to complete a dungeon run before it can trigger again.
The Gorton Bell Inn: where you spend your run gold on new Crawlers.
Disco mode: 10% chance once you own 5 Crawlers, 5% off further purchases.
The full roster¶

Source: Official Vampire Survivors Wiki, Crawlers:Characters. The "Switch 2" tag on Ambrojoe's card is a card-face label for how that card reads in the Switch 2 version, it is not platform exclusivity, and his unlock works on every platform.
Count note: 25 characters in total: 22 at launch plus 3 from Death Parade (Ambrojoe, Troubler, Leda). The official Death Parade post says "2 new Crawlers" because only two are bought at the Inn; Leda unlocks in the Endless-mode Gallo Dungeons at floor 14. The tables above have 25 rows and match this count.
Which ones are worth it (my honest take)¶
- Pasqualina (100 gold) is the best value in the game: splash damage plus Hand growth for pocket change. Buy her first.
- Antonio is free, and Imelda costs a pocket-change 10 gold: no reason not to run them early. Antonio's +10% damage per red card makes red-card decks hit harder than they look.
- MissingN0 (often typed MissingNo or Missingno) costs 6,666 gold and yes, the number is a joke, but a Duration of 170 is not. That's effectively a permanent "draw 2 per red card" engine. Endgame money sink, and worth every coin.
- Krochi, plus his level-20 unlock Tirajisú, are your Revival sources outside Power Ups. Mandatory if you're planning to fight Red Death (his 333-damage stage-ender doesn't care about your HP pool).
- Gallo + Wild cards (coins) or Troubler (coin generation) are the greed engine for gold farming runs.
