Vampire Crawlers Soundtrack: All 32 Tracks and Who Wrote Them

The soundtrack is 32 tracks and 1 hour 18 minutes of music. Four people wrote it: Michael Coviello, Daniele Zandara, Filippo Vicarelli and, for exactly one piece, Yoko Shimomura.

That last name is why this page exists. Shimomura is the biggest composer attached to the game, so the internet assumed she scored it. She wrote the main theme, 2 minutes 46 seconds of it, and nothing else. The other 31 tracks are Coviello, Zandara and Vicarelli.

Nine of the ten menu tracks are the same tune. "Never Too Prepared" is the original, and every other menu is an arrangement of it — the World Map, the Blacksmith, the Inn, even a disco version. If you only remember one melody from this game, it is this one, because the game plays it in eight rooms.

Every dungeon has two mixes of the same piece: a Crawling version for exploring and a Turbo version for combat. They are always the same length, which is why the pair always matches on this table.

Those numbers matter if you are deciding whether the OST is worth buying separately: the game ships about 57 minutes of original music, then reuses half of it in a second mix.

The wiki documents these 32. Two extra tracks were announced after launch — "Barely Staying Alive" in Crawling and Turbo versions — and the wiki had not built pages for them when this page was written. So the honest count is 32 documented, with two more announced.
